Salt Room Yoga Nidra Guided Meditation

Join us as we guide you through a beautiful Yoga Nidra meditation in the most relaxing and healing environment in Sedona. This weekly class is designed to help reduce stress and anxiety while also giving you the respiratory and skin benefits that our beautiful Salt Room has to offer.

This is not yoga!

Yoga Nidra, often referred to as yogic sleep or conscious relaxation, is a powerful technique from the yogic tradition that guides you into a state of deep relaxation while remaining fully awake and aware. The practice typically involves a systematic method of inducing complete physical, mental, and emotional relaxation.

During a Yoga Nidra session, you lie down in a comfortable position, close your eyes, and follow the verbal instructions of a trained instructor or a recorded session. The practice usually begins with a body scan to bring awareness to each part of the body, releasing tension and allowing for complete relaxation.

As the session progresses, you are guided through various stages that may include breath awareness, visualization, and the setting of a sankalpa (an intention or resolve). The aim is to reach a state of deep relaxation where the mind becomes calm and still, yet remains inwardly alert.

Class size: ONLY 6 people maximum to ensure comfort and to foster a sense of calm.
